Carl Edwards began his Roush Racing career in the Craftsman Truck series full time in 2003. By late 2004 he was competing in NEXTEL Cup and in 2005 took the series by storm! Edwards won four races and made the NEXTEL Cup Chase for the Championship in his first full season of competition. He would finish the season 35 points behind series champion Tony Stewart. Edwards celebrates every victory with a backflip off the door of his car making him quite popular with the fans. His boyish good looks and hard charging driving style attract fans of all ages and gender. Carl was the 2007 Busch Series champion winning four races along the way, along with 15 top-five finishes and 21 top tens.
